Yes! NextLOAD is a free load board. Anyone can create a free account, login and search for freight to haul anytime. We built NextLOAD to be another tool for Apex Factoring clients, so if you start factoring your freight bills, you’ll be able to see credit information and fuel discounts available on our fuel card program with available loads in NextLOAD.
How to create a free load search account (for carriers):
- Go to the create new account screen.
- Select "I want to view loads"
- Enter a valid email address and create a password. Select "Sign Up"
- You will receive an email to validate your account. Click the button in that email to activate your account. You’re in! You can go through our tutorial or skip it to start finding loads to haul.
How to create a free load posting account (for brokers and shippers):
- If you use PostEverywhere® to post loads, your available freight MAY already be on NextLOAD, make sure that you have selected to post your loads to NextLOAD through PostEverywhere®.
- If not, go to the create new account screen.
- Select "I want to post loads"
- Enter a valid email address, create a password and fill out your business information.
- Select "Sign Up"
- The NextLOAD team will process the application and reply to you ASAP to get your account activated.
When you log into NextLOAD.com, you’ll be on our “search loads” screen. You can find freight by origin, destination, ltl freight, equipment type and more! Our load board updates the loads every 10 seconds, so you’ll hear the notification noise when we find a new load that matches your criteria. You can save searches you want to come back to by clicking "save search" above the search filter area.
PostEverywhere® Method: If you use PostEverywhere® to post loads, your available freight is already on NextLOAD!
NextLOAD Posting Account Method:
- After you are logged in, select "+New Load" on the top left of the screen.
Fill out the form including the:
- Pickup and drop-off location
- Length of the freight
- Required equipment type
- If it is truckload or LTL freight
- Any other information you want to provide about the freight.

To manage your available freight, select "Posted Loads" under the profile menu located at the top right of the page.

To arrange to haul a load or learn more about an available load, you should contact the broker or shipper directly. Click on a posted load to open the load details. There, you’ll find more information about the freight and the contact information for the broker or shipper who posted it.

NextLOAD does not have an official iOS® or Android™ app, but it is a mobile friendly load board! You can add a bookmark to your mobile device so you can access NextLOAD just like an application. Learn how to add a bookmark here.
On the load details screen, there is a map of the route. For Apex clients using NextLOAD, this screen will also show all the truck stops along the route where you can get discounts on fuel. You can get our TCS fuel card and get access to discounts and the fuel finder.Learn more about our fuel card program.
Most of the available freight on NextLOAD is general freight, but brokers and shippers will post special loads if available. You can find cargo van loads, reefer loads, flatbed loads, auto hauler loads, heavy hauler loads, hot shot loads, hopper loads and many other types of freight for different equipment.
To check credit on a broker or shipper, you need to be an Apex factoring client. When you start factoring, you'll be able to check credit instantly on the brokers and shippers who have freight to haul.

We are working on having bulk load posting directly in NextLOAD. Currently, if you post loads with PostEverywhere®, which allows bulk posting, your loads will be available on NextLOAD. New available loads are automatically refreshed every 10 seconds. Unlike other load boards, we don't charge you extra for this feature.
Yes. We take loads down that have expired so you don't have to worry about irrelevant loads cluttering up the list. Loads listed might already be booked, but we do allow the broker or shipper to manage posted loads and remove them.
Not every broker or shipper puts a rate with the truck loads they post because they want you to call them directly to negotiate a rate and determine if you want to haul the freight for them.
Not every broker or shipper includes the distance with their available loads they post because the routes available may vary.
NextLOAD works best in ChromeTM. It will also work in the latest versions of Internet Explorer®, Firefox®, and Safari®. If NextLOAD doesn't look right, try logging out and back in in a new browser window.
On the Sign-in page, click "I forgot" above the password line. Enter your email address and you'll receive an email with instructions to reset your password.
Apex client? If you are an Apex client, don't enter your email, click "Are you and Apex client?" on the password reset screen.
There is one user per email address. At this time, we cannot create multiple users per account. But you can create as many free freight searching accounts as you would like.
The age of an available load is how long ago the load was posted to NextLOAD. Available loads refresh every 10 seconds, so the age will go from seconds to minutes, hours, days, weeks and months.
To create a free load searching account, we just need a valid email address. To post loads, we need to verify some basic company information.
Yes! If you want to get your own operating authority and start your own trucking company, the Apex Startup Program is what you need!
Apex clients should log in to NextLOAD with their Apex website credentials or log in directly to the Apex factoring site and navigate to NextLOAD from the dashboard.
To use the Fuel Finder, Apex clients should log in to NextLOAD with their Apex credentials or log in directly to the Apex factoring site and navigate to NextLOAD from the client dashboard, then your fuel discount information will be visible.
